9:00am – Meditation Basics with Rev. Charles
Meditation is a practice that has been around for thousands of years and has been used by people from all walks of life to achieve a sense of peace, clarity, and well-being. It is a powerful tool for reducing stress, increasing self-awareness, and promoting overall mental and emotional health. In our fast-paced and hectic world, taking the time to slow down and connect with our inner selves has become more important than ever. That is why our meditation workshop is designed to introduce participants to the basics of meditation and provide them with the necessary tools and techniques to incorporate this practice into their daily lives.
10:30am – Breath Meditation with Rev. Jane
The breath is one of the most powerful tools that we possess, yet it is often overlooked in our daily lives. The Breath Meditation Workshop aims to bring awareness to this natural and essential function of our bodies. This workshop is designed to guide participants on a journey of self-discovery and inner peace through the practice of breath meditation.

1:00pm – All Message Service in the Chapel (included)
2:30pm – Chakra Meditation with Rev. Andrew
Chakra meditation is an ancient practice that focuses on balancing and activating the seven energy centers, or chakras, located along the spine. These energy centers are believed to be responsible for our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. In this workshop, you will learn about the significance of chakras, as well as how to identify and work with each one. Through a variety of exercises, you will be able to deeply connect with each chakra and release any blockages that may be hindering its function. This workshop is designed for beginners and experienced meditators alike, with the goal of helping you develop a deeper understanding and connection with your body and mind. By the end of the workshop, you will have a deeper sense of self-awareness and the tools to continue your chakra meditation practice on your own. Join us for this transformative experience and unlock the power of your chakras for a more balanced and fulfilling life.
4:00pm – Movement Meditation with Rev. Jane in the Maxon
Movement meditation is a practice that combines physical movement with mindfulness and breath work to cultivate a deeper connection between the mind and body. It involves intentionally moving the body in a slow, intentional manner while focusing on the sensations and thoughts that arise. Unlike traditional seated meditation, which often involves sitting still for extended periods of time, movement meditation allows for a more fluid and dynamic experience. The key is to engage in the movements with a sense of awareness and presence, rather than simply going through the motions. This allows for a deeper understanding and acceptance of one’s physical and emotional state in the present moment.
5:30pm – Mantra Meditation with Rev. Charles
Mantra meditation is a powerful technique that has been used for centuries to calm the mind, cultivate inner peace, and connect with one’s spiritual self. The word ‘mantra’ comes from the Sanskrit words ‘man,’ meaning mind, and ‘tra,’ meaning instrument. Therefore, a mantra is essentially a tool for the mind. It is a repeated phrase or sound that is used as a focal point during meditation.
