The Indiana Association of Spiritualists (IAOS) was founded in 1886 and made Camp Chesterfield its home in 1890.
Camp Chesterfield is listed as a historic district on the “National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places.”
The non-profit group, Friends of Camp Chesterfield Foundation, works with the IAOS to preserve the unique architecture and numerous structures throughout the nearly 34-acre property.
Being recognized as one of the largest Spiritualist Community in the United States and the world, Camp Chesterfield is truly a one-of-a-kind destination location attracting visitors from around the globe.

a flourishing Spiritualist community
surrounded by beauty. Take a walk on the quiet streets
and tree lined pathways that lead to hotels, a quaint Chapel
in the woods, a Tree of Life Book and Gift Shop, the unique Trail of Religion, a Totem Pole, a Cathedral with stained glass windows, a Labyrinth and much more.
